After studying Classical guitar from an early age, Mark turned his hand to the pop/rock scene, and played with a variety of outfits from rock to funk, in a variety of places from Cornwall to Australia. Having being inspired by a local Flamenco concert in 2000, Mark diversified into the exciting and dynamic world of Flamenco Guitar, studying with South West virtuoso Jon Salfield and the UK's number 1 Flamenco teacher, Rafael. Music for that special occasion He's an ideal choice for a wide variety of occasions, including weddings, dinner parties and many informal gatherings likely to appreciate this kind of music. Mark's central location in the South West make bookings in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Bath, Avon, Wiltshire and Sussex all within easy reach. Mark also plays in a Latin/Spanish guitar duo with Jon Boyes, called "Esperanto". In 2005, Mark has finished recording a CD called "Passionata", collaborating with other musicians. Downloads from this CD are available on the downloads page. A new CD, Exotica, is currently being produced and is nearing completion. More details on this very exciting project, featuring a host of guest musicians from around the world, will appear soon.
