Biography:

Mark has been playing the guitar since an early age, firstly Classical, then moving onto Rock during the 80's and then to Flamenco in 2000. I have performed music on a regular basis, from a few solo Classical appearences at an early age, through a plethora of groups in the 80's and 90's (all styles, including blues, country, funk, rock and disco!) to solo, duo and trio Flamenco work today.

Solo, and as part of a group he has performed in Australia, Germany, France, Greece and its islands, and all over the UK, encompassing a wide variety of venues from hotels to concert halls. Among the many perforamamce highlights are a charity concert at Cornwall Collesium, Ashton Court Festival 2003 and 2004, New Years eve in Australia, a charity concert in India, numerous duo performances, and the "Guitarras Del Fuego" guitar trio at the Wharf, Tavistock in 2008.

Styles and influences:

"Live, I like to provide a good mix of musical styles, so that everyone will hopefully appreciate some of the pieces I play. My repertoire varies from Classical guitar standards, such as Romance and Asturias, through interpretations of contemporary music, including many songs from the Beatles, to lively and percussive Flamenco standards, often delicately incorporating hints of Arabic and Latin influences."

Bookings:

"The music I play is the ideal accompanyment for weddings, functions, restaurants
and parties. Spanish and Flamenco guitar, combined with a good choice of repertoire
can be the icing on the cake to make a perfect wedding day."
