Three spanish guitarists: Al Marconi, Jon Boyes and Mark Barnwell are collaborating to perform at the Old Chapel in Calstock, on Sunday 21st February 2010.
Collectively they are known as Guitarras del Fuego which translates as Guitars of Fire. The gig promises to be exciting and unique as they, renowned as individual performers in the South West, bring together an eclectic mix of world rhythms and styles with passion, grace and fire, comprising latin; rumba; traditional; contemporary; flamenco and nuevo flamenco. Each will bring their own creative flair to the mix, while paying tribute to artists such as the Gipsy Kings, Rodrigo y Gabriella and Strunz and Farah. Too good to miss. Starts 7:30pm.
